Citadel Media Inc. is a Toronto-based independent production company dedicated to developing and producing narrative content for Canadian and international audiences.

Founded by filmmaker Chris Kabisoso, Citadel Media focuses on stories that explore identity, culture, resilience, and the African diaspora experience, with a visual sensibility shaped by several cinematic influences. We work across development, production, and strategic partnerships, bringing together creative talent and cultural institutions to create content with cross-border appeal.

Citadel Media produces and directs narrative-driven commercial content for brand partners, applying the same cinematic storytelling instincts of strong visual composition, character-led structure, and a clear directorial point of view to advertising. 

The company's current slate includes short films Figaro Figaro, feature film The Paraffin (formerly Dirty Paraffin), a Toronto-set ensemble crime thriller centered on a stolen African tribal mask and the anchor of a planned feature and anthology franchise; Road to the Olympics, a docu-series in development following Montreal-based boxers on their path to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics; and more
